I made the stay in Sal until the 20th because yes, you do fly on the 19th but it isn’t until super late. May as well still have a place to use during that day. Also, I made the stay in Lisbon begin on the 19th for the same reason, you land super early, it’s way more convenient to have somewhere to go right away instead of wandering the streets until check-in.
